Job description
The Youth Ministry Director is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordinating, and implementing of a program for youth, defined as children in 7th to 12th grade. The Youth Ministry Director will teach youth the Bible and develop relationships with the youth participants.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and lead weekly youth Bible study on Wednesdays.
- Work with staff and key leaders in recruiting and developing an organization of volunteers for youth ministries, including Youth Sunday school, Youth Bible study, and other youth events.
- Actively develop and sustain relationships with youth and their families.
- Conduct outreach to local youth and their families.
- Keep abreast of new materials, programs and methods, ministry trends, etc.
- Develop and train volunteers for church-wide events involving youth ministries (VBS, fall festival, back school bash, etc.).
- Assist with coordinating special projects for the youth by networking and partnering with other Christian organizations, as approved by the Pastor.

19 hours per week at $18 per hour. Growth in hours and compensation available as church continues to grow.
