Responsibilities and Duties

• The position is a Job Coach. You would be picking up /transporting Adults and taking them to community areas such as the library, a park, an exercise place or a class. During this time with them, you are the supervisor and advocate.

  We are looking for individuals that can work a Monday-Friday 9 am to 2 pm shift.

  The skills and qualifications for this position include but not limited to:

  1. Desire to help Adults who are learning challenged with encouragement, respect, and overall engagement with them on a one-to-one basis. On-the-job training on the duties will be provided.

  2. Great communication skills to understand the limitations of certain individuals and creative ways to work with them.

  3. Previous experience working or interacting with adults with learning challenges which could be family member experience as well.

  Must have a valid California Drivers License in good standing. Able to a clear criminal background and drug screen in accordance to California Employment Law.

  Must be over 21 yrs old and able to get a CPR/First Aid Cert, and TB clearance.
