Aggressive Base Salary Plus Commission for Motivated Agents!

The Insurance Sales Executive or producer creates quotes, binds policies, and advises customers about their insurance needs. The producer will meet and exceed business production goals, utilize various lead sources to solicit new business, and create strong relationships with new and existing customers.

Responsibilities

Prospect leads and close Insurance sales

Sell various types of personal lines of insurance such as Auto, Home and Life as well as commercial and farm ranch.

Manage the entire sales process to ensure proper product and service delivery

Interact with policyholders to explain coverage, suggest additions or changes, and review portfolio in detail.

Dedication to delivering a superior customer service experience while developing new business relationships and maintaining current relationships

Requirements

Active Ohio Property & Casualty license preferred

Active Ohio Life license preferred

We are willing to help the right candidate get licensed

Valid driver's license

Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing our clients.

Availability to work Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00 pm (with later evenings on occasion, depending on appointments), rotating Saturdays from 10:00 am- 2:00 pm

Must be willing to undergo and pass a background check and drug screening

Successful candidates will possess:

Strong sales skills with a history of effectively developing, tracking, following up on and closing leads

Advanced consultative selling techniques utilizing thorough product knowledge

Strong phone sales and prospecting skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with strong customer focus

Ambition, motivation and drive

Knowledge of desktop systems including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office software applications

Excellent listening skills and ability to understand customer needs

Work Environment

This is an in-office position. Employees will service clients on the phone and in-person and are based on site in our Mt Vernon Office. Some remote work from home time may be possible. Mostly Monday - Friday, Saturday and evenings on occasion
