Title: Controls Engineer 
Location: Taylor, TX ** NO TRAVEL**
Salary: $70,000- $130,000/year (Depending on experience) + Bonus + FREE HEALTHCARE

What You Will Be Doing

- Serve as the technical lead for small projects -- building PLC and HMI templates for projects
- Collaborate with PMs and Estimators to assess conceivable projects and submit proposals 
- Read/interpret diagrams to communicate with customers to understand project objectives and preferences
- Develop the overall architecture and communications strategy between all control system elements
- Develop PLC programs in Ladder, Function Block, Structured Text
- Develop HMI
- Come up with BOMs, inventory lists, and requirements for control panels
- Develops hardware and software test plans and writes simulation logic for the testing of the PLC and HMI system

What You Need for this Position

- 2+ years of PLC programming experience -- Ladder Logic, Function Block, Structured Text for junior-level. 6+ years of experience for senior-level
- 2+ years of Controls experience in an engineering, construction or related industry/field
- BS degree preferred
- Proficient with Allen Bradley equipment/systems
- Proficient in Rockwell Automation Hardware
- AutoCAD proficiency is a plus!
