Music Therapy Intern to join our team.
Responsibilities: - Provide music therapy services to clients with developmental disabilities with direct supervision by a board-certified music therapist
- Maintain communication with supervisor and families of clients
Requirements: - Passion for working with children and a genuine interest in pediatric therapy
- Effective communication skills and the ability to connect with children and families
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting children's growth
- Hold a minimum bachelor's degree in Music Therapy or its equivalent from an accredited college or university or proof of completion of coursework
- Have completed all educational and clinical training requirements as required by the American Music Therapy Association, inclusive of pre-clinical hours completed during their academic coursework.
- Ability to work as a team member within a residential or clinical setting.
