Quirk Auto Group is looking for an experienced Finance Manager at Cars By Us i n Bangor, Maine.
The Experienced Finance Manager is primarily responsible for selling used car buyers financing and insurance programs. Finance managers also work with financial lenders to give fair interest rates to buyers and programs.

Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Offer vehicle financing and insurance to customers, and provide them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products extended warranties.
- Converts cash deals to finance
- Takes all credit applications
- Obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals. Collect and safeguard all money and fees required in the transactions.
- Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect the used vehicle finance and insurance.
- Create and maintain relationships with the sales department that will ensure sales are referred to the Finance department.
- Train and provide the sales team with information on finance programs and the benefits of financing and extended service programs.
- Maintain up-to-date manual including current lender rates and incentives, prices on all Finance products, and any other pertinent information.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with several lending sources.
- Finalize all paperwork necessary in the car deal in a timely and m accurate manner and submit to the accounting office.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Experienced Finance Manager Knowledge
- Computers and Electronics – Basic knowledge of computers and programs such as Microsoft Office applications, Route one , and Dealer Track
- Economics and Accounting — Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
- English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic and statistics, and their applications.
- Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Education and Training — Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
- Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
Experienced Finance Manager Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a dealership Finance Department, selling of financial services, or auto sales required
- Valid in-state driver's license and driving record that adhere to company standard
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to sell a minimum quota according to the dealership standards
