This position will have remote and hybrid workplace options available. However it may still be required to report to a given state office as directed by the supervisor and based on business need.

Description of Job

The salary range for this posting is:
$31.59 - $32.08 Hourly
$2,526.92 - $2,566.62 Biweekly
$5,475.00 - $5,561.00 Monthly
$65,700.00 - $66,732.00 Annually


The purpose of this position is to support projects through data analysis, forecasting, drafting reports, presentations, and proposals for the state of Colorado. This position will be responsible for verbally presenting information on various economic issues, supporting senior staff in LMI by writing economic reports, analyzing and responding to questions from legislators, media, government officials, and the public. Duties may include planning, organizing, collecting and validating data. Data and/or analysis compiled may be used for publication and/or disseminated to a wide variety of users. LMI’s Analytic Staff are expected to become leading experts on programs within LMI.

Education and Experience:


Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field of study related to the work assignment.



AND


Two years of professional experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position to include any of the following: Performing and presenting economic impact studies, summarizing and creating economic/legislative briefs; performing professional analytics (statistical, business intelligence, data visualization, financial, logistical).
