Job description

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues.  To support the mission of Helio Health, Inc., the  Employment Specialist will assist participants in achieving a recovery lifestyle and meet the vocational rehabilitation needs of the participants. The Employment Specialist will work on a Full-Time basis at our Personalized Recovery Orientated Services program, "PROS". 

In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time hires for this position are eligible for a  Sign-On Incentive up to $1,500!

Pay Rate: $22.73- $26.74 per hour. 

• Facilitate groups/trainings covering the competencies associated with:
  • Assessment of vocational and educational needs
  • Referrals for additional vocational assessments
  • Individual Recovery Planning
• Provides job preparation and ongoing job development training.
• Discharge Planning.
• Record-Keeping.
• Works with community organizations and agencies to enhance Vocational and Living Skills programming.
• Performs Quality Assurance activities in include:
  • Provides services according to agency policies and procedures and governmental regulations/guidelines.
  • Evaluates programming and identifies strengths/problems.
• Assists in problem resolution and implementing appropriate program modifications.
• Participates in committees as assigned.
• Maintains appropriate program records and statistical accountability.
• Represents program to the community.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year of employment experience in the Human Services field preferred.
• Vocational rehabilitation counseling experience required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
