Job description
Summary:
· We are looking for an experienced Controls Engineer with over 5 years of experience with PLCs and the ability to create a program from scratch.
Job Title : Controls Engineer 3
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Duration : 12 Months Contract
Status : Onsite
MUST HAVE skills:
·5+ years of experience with PLCs and the ability to create a program from scratch.
· Ability to create PLC programs using one of the IEC 61131 PLC Programming languages i.e. Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, Structured Text or any other PLC programming language.
· Develop control software utilizing various PLC platforms. Expert knowledge on at least one of the following PLC platforms. Schneider Momentum, M340, M580, AB Control, Compact Logix, Woodward MSLC, DSLC, Easy Gen, and LS5 Architecture
Desired:
· Understand in detail the applicable NEC, UL 508, UL 891, UL 1558, UL MV, CSA 22-2, and ANSI requirements and their applications in switchgear controls.
Education Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering preferred.
