Job description

As a Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the Technical Training team and for creating, tracking, and maintaining student reservations and records for North, South, and Central America.

+ Provide student confirmation for training activities at Kyocera approved sites.

+ Enter all student (local, regional, national, and some international) activities (enroll, update, cancel, validate) classes at National Training Center (NTC) and the online Learning Management System (LMS).

+ Schedule and coordinate instructor led regional technical training classes. 

+ Communicate with dealers and students on all training related activities.

+ Monitor incoming communications from all regions/headquarters/dealerships, regarding roster changes and additions. 

+ Transfer transcripts between customer dealerships when technicians and dealers move from one customer dealership to another. 

+ Validate and update product and technical authorizations in Oracle database.

+ Order food for students and staff as requested.

+ Validate, pay, and track all invoices for the National Training Center. 

+ Arrange all local student transportation between airport, hotel, and training facility.

+ Produce/generate diplomas and classroom placards for all technicians attending classes. 

+ Answer training inquiries (class availability, training dates, general travel, etc.).

+ Create and maintain class rosters for all online and in-person technical classes.

Required:

+ High School or General Education Diploma. 

+ Fully proficient with Microsoft Office Programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel.

+ Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative or other relevant experience.

+ Must be well-organized with the ability to maintain, document, and track training activities and schedules.

+ Ability and willingness to learn new procedures and use new application software.

 

Preferred:

+ Previous experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) - tracking, updating, change, cancel, student activities.

+ A general understanding of copier/scanners/printer and networking products in the Office Equipment Business. 

+ Familiarity with Oracle database systems a plus.
