Assistant Manager – Infosys McCamish – Des Moines, IA The Assistant Manager role is an integral member of the team. Within our group, the team includes other functional roles that provides a career path for the right candidate.
The primary responsibilities of the Assistant Manager are leading a multi-functional team that includes Post Issue Processing, Billing, and New Business. The right candidate will be a self-starter with previous Leadership experience and knowledge of Annuity and Life Insurance products. They aspire to be a Subject Matter Expert on our processes and procedures and using multiple systems to manage the timeliness and quality of day-to-day transactional processes and results.
Location for this position is Infosys McCamish, Des Moines, IA
Qualifications Basic - High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience on the job description.
Preferred - Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in BPO Leadership managing associates in multiple locations.
- Annuity and Life Insurance experience.
- Previous Leadership experience leading day to day operations with multiple direct reports
- Ability to work with other Leaders to drive overall performance results.
- Excellent oral and written skills communication skills including the ability to write and document standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities - Execute med - high complexity transactions within prescribed guidelines and timelines.
- Verify documents , analyze claim data, and process claim payments
- Interact with customers and clients
- Follow standard operating procedures for various Life and Annuity clients
- Gathering documents from clients.
- Clarifying and auditing information on the forms.
- Researching any information that is not matching up.
- Calling funeral homes to request death certificates, calling insurance companies to track down information, etc.
- Phone work is about 5% of the job.
