Job description
Amotec is actively seeking a Process Engineer to join a dynamic team at a manufacturing facility located an hour north of Dallas, TX. Our client offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production of truck parts while working in a collaborative and innovative environment. The Process Engineer will play a pivotal role in optimizing and enhancing our manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality standards and operational efficiency.
Process Engineer Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Design, develop, and implement innovative process enhancements, utilizing advanced techniques and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and quality assurance to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for proposed process enhancements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve production issues and optimize process performance.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process control plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with composites, fiber glass or resins is strongly preferred.
