Position Summary

The Senior Product manager will be responsible for the strategic brand management and tactical execution of the WECK® EFx® Fascial Closure Solutions and MiniLap® Percutaneous Surgical System portfolios including North America (NA) commercial execution and Global strategic marketing. The Senior Product Manager is responsible for achieving NA revenue and profit goals while enabling global brand growth. They will optimize the current product life cycle performance and will assess and create global new product and pipeline development opportunities.

Principal Responsibilities

• Develop Global and NA brand strategy and partner with senior leadership to develop and execute 5-year strategic and annual operating plans for each portfolio with full Sales alignment and implementation.

• Understand the customer’s needs and environment, procedural and technical market trends, and competition.

• Develop and execute programs that drive revenue growth by increasing procedural adoption and taking competitive share – product segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies for each portfolio that deliver compelling messages that support the value proposition.

• Develop NA promotional tactics and content that are globally relevant including market development activities, sales training material, clinical education, and sales/marketing collateral (i.e. brochures, ads, digital marketing, marketing communications, clinical evidence).

• Establish long-term pricing strategy and execute with discipline

• Play an active role in pursuing and supporting large IDN and GPO positions by partnering with Corporate Accounts, delivering customer presentations, and responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs). Upon awards, you will develop and execute a sales launch package.

• Attend major conventions and regional meetings as required; develop and implement Fascial Closure and MiniLap portfolio convention strategies.

• Develop, maintain, and leverage key opinion leader (KOL) relationships for brand advocacy, professional education, evidence generation. and voice of customer feedback.

• Lead the customer insights generation process to identify user needs that inform a multi-generational product pipeline and be the marketing lead on cross-functional NPD project teams and completing the required marketing deliverables of our NPD process.

• Define appropriate product claims to support the value proposition and coordinate the activities required to support those claims.

• Develop and support global strategy according to market needs, training, assessment of market penetration by Teleflex and competitors, and coordination of revenue expectations.

• Perform NA forecasting and support the forecasted needs of our global markets to ensure adequate supply.

• Monitor complaint data and field reports and trigger activity as required.

• Adhere to and ensure the adherence of Teleflex Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Education / Experience Requirements

• Four-year College degree, MBA preferred

• 7+ years of marketing experience required

• Minimum of 5+ years in healthcare industry

• 2+ years of clinical experience with surgical medical devices in the OR setting preferred

• Medical Device sales experience a plus

• Experience in local brand marketing (line marketing) with responsibility for a brand or portfolio of brands within a country or region preferred

• Prior Global Marketing experience preferred
