S 3 , Inc. has wholly owned subsidiaries that expand the customer base and increase our annual growth rate: KBFS - provides aviation pilot training, heavy lift, aircraft maintenance, and related aircraft services to Government and commercial requirements IAW multiple FAA certifications; S3I - provides OCONUS FMS technical services, maintenance, and aviation platform training; and GLSS - provides SCA/CBA contract aviation maintenance.


S 3 , Inc. has an immediate opening for a Senior HR Generalist to join out HR team at our Corporate Headquarters located in Research Park, Huntsville, AL .



Position Description:


The Senior HR Generalist coordinates and executes the development and administration of human resources programs and functions and performs a wide variety of professional level human resources activities in functions such as, employment, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, security, unemployment insurance and related areas .



Responsibilities :


Serving as deputy to the HR Manager when the situation dictates.


Assisting in the development and conduct of recruiting programs, interviewing, screening, evaluating and selecting qualified applicants, use of Taleo ATS.


Reviewing requests for classification/grade changes, recommending appropriate salary grades, analyzing salary survey data, developing compensation structure.


Interpreting human resources policies for supervision, counseling employees concerning work related problems and conducting termination interviews.


Preparing company benefit brochures and conducting employee onboarding and orientations.


Preparing and presenting unemployment claims; developing programs and similar asks.


Conducting research, analyzing data and preparing recommendations on assigned projects.


Providing assistance to line management regarding employee relations practices and technical guidance to lower level staff.



Experience/Skills Required :


Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and at least eight years of related experience in a Federal Contractor corporate facility.


A skill level of 4 out of 5 or better with Microsoft Office products? (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).


Five or more years of Defense technical recruiting experience.


Three years of HR experience working with Service Contract Act (SCA) and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA).


Experience supervising three or more HR employees.


Three or more years of experience with advanced HRIS platforms to include recruiting Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).


Experience preparing and delivering employee instructional training for OFCCP compliance and analyzing personnel data for OFCCP compliance and preparing recommendations for corporate actions?.


Three or more years of experience with Delteck Costpoint or like payroll data entry and data extraction for analytical comparisons.


Experience working within a formal Quality Management System (ISO/AS9100) for at least 3 years.
