Job description

As a Transformation Consultant, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare by enhancing operational efficiency and integrating new technologies, services, and processes. Your responsibilities will include staying abreast of emerging healthcare trends, contributing to the design and implementation of innovative operating models, and mentoring colleagues in adopting new techniques and processes. You will collaborate with leaders across functions to demonstrate strategic and financial impact, utilizing a data-driven approach to drive transformation within the healthcare system.

Location: Remote (U.S. based, NY State preferred)

Job Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze information to develop and communicate recommendations for solving clinical and operational challenges.
Plan, operationalize, and scale new processes and functions within the health system.
Support innovation and emerging opportunities through business case development and market sizing.
Track key performance indicators at initiative, departmental, and system levels.
Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings to stakeholders.
Utilize financial systems to maintain accurate records.
Stay informed about current healthcare-related digital and technology trends and best practices.
Develop innovative strategies to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
Proficiency in financial modeling for decision-making and strategic planning.
Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills and a knack for numbers.
Familiarity with financial systems and ability to interpret financial data accurately.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Open to constructive criticism and adaptable to feedback.

Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare knowledge or willingness to learn quickly.
Experience in advanced data analytics tools and techniques.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace challenges.
Champion of creative solutions and continuous improvement.
Results-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines in complex organizations.
Effective communicator capable of transcending organizational silos.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum two to three years of relevant professional experience.
Familiarity with healthcare systems, processes, and terminology.
Physical ability to remain stationary for extended periods and occasionally move light objects.
