The Credentialing and Onboarding Specialist plays a crucial role in the process of bringing new employees into the organization and ensuring that they are fully prepared to provide services to the company's clients and stakeholders. This role involves managing the credentialing process, which includes verifying and maintaining the qualifications, licenses, and certifications required for each employee's role. Additionally, the specialist is responsible for coordinating the onboarding process, which involves orientation, training, workstation setup and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Specialist also tracks and maintains ongoing employee movement and assignment changes throughout their employment and ensures changes are reflected in Paycom. The specialist also works to maintain compliance with various payors and school partners, ensuring that employees meet the necessary requirements to provide services and receive payment. Overall, the credentialing and onboarding specialist helps to ensure that the organization's workforce is qualified, compliant, and prepared to deliver high-quality services.

The ideal candidate for the Credentialing and Onboarding Specialist role is someone with a keen attention to detail, capable of effectively tracking multiple processes and communicating with employees and stakeholders to keep them informed about the status of their onboarding and credentialing. They should possess a curiosity and drive to innovate, constantly seeking ways to change the game and streamline the credentialing and onboarding processes.
