Overview
Amphenol has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Sustainability and Product Stewardship Specialist, reporting to the Corporate Sustainability Manager. This role will encompass Sustainability, Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) with a focus on Product Stewardship activities for the global organization. The candidate will assess and research regulatory developments and customer expectations and shall work closely with all internal functionalities of the enterprise, with a focus on emerging product regulation, engineering, chemical, supply chain, EHS, and marketing to develop, communicate, implement and ensure compliance of Amphenol's products. Understanding and capabilities to coordinate and oversee the reporting to various external agencies, such as EPA, CDP, Ecovadis, SEC, EU and miscellaneous ESG raters and rankers.

Reporting Structure
Reports directly to Corporate Sustainability Manager and will work collaboratively across the entire EHSS team and with operating/group/divisional unit as needed.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing a third-party regulatory service provider, monitor global electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) and chemical substances regulations to determine impacts to operations material feedstocks and authorization of use.
- Monitor Amphenol Sustainability email for customer product stewardship requests and process to appropriate business units or EHSS functions.
- Develop SOP for chemical substances data collection, management of change and dissemination.
- Function as the company Product Stewardship SME spokesperson and regulatory liaison when intervention is required for lawmakers' a/o customers.
- Represent the company at SDO and industry-group meetings (ASTM, IPC, IAEG, GEC, AIAG) to ensure sound and practicable science is engrained in the development of new industry standards.
- Develop and deliver training materials to ensure understanding of emerging Sustainability and Product Stewardship regulations and requirement to Business units.
- Assist with EHS & Sustainability policy review and develop related guidance documents and training materials.
- Research and recommend LCA software capable of meeting Amphenol's need on a global scale and in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
- Develop the tools and processes to support generation of ISO 14025 environmental product declarations (EPDs) in accordance with upcoming European Digital Product Passport requirements.
- Utilize the Sustainable Development Reporting System (SDRS) software with analysis of Sustainability metrics applicable to Amphenol's decentralized business structure in support Corporate Social Responsibility reporting.
- Create content for Amphenol's annual Sustainability Report.
- Contribute to Environmental Social & Governance (ESG) reporting frameworks (e.g., S&P SAM, CDP, CHRB, Know the Chain, Just Capital, MSCI, etc.). Provide inputs to Investor Relations as needed.
- Assess the company's current Regulatory service provider to determine if they are the optimal partner capable of delivering EHS, Product Stewardship, Sustainability and Social Responsibility information.
- Develop enterprise-based knowledge-sharing system (Benchmark or other) for compliant and non-compliant materials to, where applicable, minimize redundancy and supplier survey fatigue.
- Implement a comprehensive product stewardship program in accordance with management systems best practices and EU Circular Economy provisions.
- Lead or assist with other EHS, Sustainability, Product Stewardship, and Social Responsibility projects as needed.
General Responsibilities
- Personable communication with various sustainability stakeholders (employees, suppliers, customers, governmental agencies, non-governmental organizations – NGOs, etc.) related to inquiries and requests for information.
- Collection, maintenance, and analysis of relevant product stewardship data and KPIs. Develop reporting systems, as needed.
- Cross-functional collaboration with the company's worldwide business areas and functionalities, related to product stewardship activities.
- Performing research, review, and analysis for special projects.
- Preparation of necessary administrative, operational, and statistical reports for use by internal and/or external organizations. Must have excellent data visualization capabilities. Tableau/Power BI experience is a plus.
- Relationship development and participation on teams in support of stewardship and sustainability goals/objectives. Must be able to collaboratively influence and lead teams without authority where necessary.
- Public speaking, presentations, and facilitation of dialogue, as needed, whether F2F or through virtual meeting software
- Recommendations to improve performance to stakeholders.
- Transition company from reactive to proactive monitoring of emerging stewardship and sustainability trends, programs, and issues.
- Application of lean principles and practices in stewardship & sustainability activities.

- Independent thinker and self-starter who will roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
