Job description

Fund Accountant

Responsibilities

• Performing monthly bank reconciliations for the management company and fund accounts

• Managing monthly recurring payments at the management company

• Assisting in the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes (using QuickBooks and Stampli [A/P software])

• Calculating new funding amounts for investments

• Managing and tracking capital calls, depositing checks (via remote deposit scanner)

• Preparing distributions to investors

• Assisting in quarterly close processes for funds, including but not limited to:
o Advisory Board materials
o Financial statements
o Quarterly waterfall calculations
o Capital account statements

• Assisting and supporting year end audits for the funds and management company

• Assisting with investor relations as needed (managing contact updates, audit confirmations, investor statements, confirming new wire instructions, etc.)

• Completing audit confirmations for investors

Experience

• 0-2 years of experience in accounting

• Proficiency in Microsoft products (particularly in Excel and PowerPoint)

• Experience with QuickBooks/Stampli/eFront a plus

• CPA/CPA Candidate preferred
