The Molecular Biology Department at UT Southwestern mission is to conduct high-impact internationally recognized research, and to educate and train the next generation of leaders in biomedical research. The research in Molecular Biology focuses on understanding mechanisms that control normal and abnormal cell growth and differentiation during development and disease. 

Job Summary

The Cleaver Lab is seeking a motivated Research Technician I. The Cleaver lab is currently working to understand how organs and tissues develop, with a focus on blood vessels. The ideal candidate would be someone with basic knowledge of molecular and cellular biology, who is willing to learn and work as a team with students and postdoctoral fellows. Applicant will be tasked with assisting daily experiments, which will include genotyping mice, tissue histology, antibody staining, microscopy, lab management, and more. We are seeking motivated individuals to engage in the research and help move lab goals forward. Good communication and documentation skills are a must.
