Job description
Our client an agronomy consulting company is seeking a candidate to proactively build longterm profitable relationships with their current customers. In doing so the account manager will be responsible for achieving the customer satisfaction targets.
Technical Skills & Job Responsibilities:
- Learn and implement the Company’s Consultative Selling system.
- Learn to work effectively with the Data Management system.
- Learn to read a soil test accurately as well as be able to explain it to growers and teammates.
- Learn to understand and write variable rate seeding N P and K recs as well as be able to explain them to teammates and growers.
- Maintain and service assigned farmer clients.
- Understand and implement marketing plan initiatives.
- Profitably maintain and grow current customer base as well as grow a new customer base. Consult on 20000 acres.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints.
- Work with Microsoft/IOS Office.
- Develop an agronomy plan with current assigned customers as well as any prospects assigned.
- Effectively work with CRM system in place as well as keep updated.

Job Requirements :
- Licensed and insurable to drive.
- Must pass preemployment drug screen.
- Some overtime and weekend hours.
- Lift 50 lbs. and carry 50 feet.
