Position Overview: As a Senior Frontend React Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing frontend applications, contributing to the creation of user-friendly interfaces for automotive technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software products that meet the needs of customers.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using React.js
- Collaborate with designers to implement user-friendly interfaces and optimize user experience
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and provide constructive feedback
- Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices and browsers
- Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3
- Extensive experience with React.js and related libraries/tools (e.g., Redux, Webpack)
- Solid understanding of frontend build pipelines and tools (e.g., npm, yarn)
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Nice to Have: - Experience with automotive or transportation-related projects
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
- Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Express)
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme)
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
