Job description

The UT Southwestern Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology, Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC) Kidney Cancer Program is recruiting for a faculty leader with an interest in genomics to lead the Kidney Cancer Program Genomics Core. The primary research responsibility will be to oversee bioinformatics, including Kidney Cancer Explorer, and genomics for the Kidney Cancer Program and to develop a research program leveraging these assets.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in biology, an exceptional writer and communicator. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.

Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.

This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
