- Partners with the Plant Manager, Production Manager, and Warehouse Managers, and site management/supervisory personnel (coaches) to develop and administer all aspects of current and future QC processes. Frequently interacts with functional peer group managers, cross-functional employees, project managers both within and outside of the department.
- Oversee the local commercialization process through Agile, and ERP systems, and loading/governing Master Data.
- Ensures the facility obtains and maintains ISO 9001 certification and FDA/Health Canada’s GMP License through diligent management & continuous audit of these programs.
- Guides Plant Engineers to write and approve IQ, OQ, PQ validations.
- Delivers Corp ISO Internal auditor training program to employees.
- Works closely with Plant Management, supervisors NASC members, R&D with regards to rework, process improvements and waste minimization.
- Studies statistical data collected by QA and plant personnel concerning quality problems, opportunities for improvement and/or complaints to identify root causes, corrective/preventive actions and audits for effectiveness. Uses data to evaluate identifiable factors and resolve problems of both a diverse and complex scope. Understands and resolves issues (including cross-functional) affecting the plant through immediate actions or short-term planning and sets priorities to ensure task completion.
- Exercises judgment within/consistent with generally defined practices and policies in problem solving.
- Ensures the QC staff is properly trained in all ISO QC requirements, SPC, laboratory techniques, safety rules and appropriate regulatory and environmental procedures.
- Provide guidance to the various groups in QA processes, strategies and actions toward handling non- conformances and continuous improvement.
- Works closely with 3PL teams to identify opportunities for product quality improvements, and drive projects/programs to drive product and process improvements.
- Participates & complies with our environmental, health & safety program, including training initiatives and following all policies & procedures. Partners with regional EHS Manager in supporting the implementation of training initiatives for the site; assists the company in achieving zero incidents.
- Assists with the sourcing of training for the site utilizing pre-existing programs. Delivers in-house training programs as necessary.

- This role will report into the Plant Manager and will manage 5 direct reports
