HIRING an Ultrasound Technician!!
Shift : Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location : Westminster, CA
Pay : $35.00 - $45.00 Depending on experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations
* Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record and adapt procedures
* Uses independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathological findings
* Analyses sonograms, synthesize information, medical history, and communicates findings to the appropriate physician
* Responsible for the safety, mental, physical comfort of patients while they are in the sonographer' care
* Coordinates with other staff to assure appropriate patient care is provided
* Recognize and record appropriate anatomy and physiology using sonographic equipment
* Present images and preliminary findings to physicians and the clinical nurses
Requirements * Experience in fertility or OB/GYN required.
* Associate of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
* 1-2 years of hands-on ultrasound experience
* OB/GYN scans, including follicular scans, complete pelvic scans and 1st trimester OB experience preferred.
* Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn.
