We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our client’s financial records, profit and loss generation, balance sheet generation, . include working closely with our business services and sales departments. Our ideal candidate holds a Finance degree (preferably followed by accounting CPE courses) and is familiar with accounting software packages. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibility is to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our clients. Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger and general ledger.
• Bring the books to the trial balance stage
• Perform partial checks of the posting process.
• Complete tax forms
• Enter data, maintain records, and launch reports and financial statements.

Requirements:

• Proven bookkeeping experience, 5 year minimum
• Quick Books Certification
• Oral/verbal/written client communication skills
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
• BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration

Compensation:

• $26-28/ hour
