Job description

Responsibilities:

Will be responsible to test and validate Customer Connected services features.

Responsible to validate BEV Truck features like Live dashboard, Insights vehicle, Charger dashboard, also connected features on ICE engines like Remote diagnostics, OTA, Enhanced OTA, Vehicle Diagnostics report Etc

Lead responsible to manage Defects in ALM/HP QC, Will be organising triage calls with OEM and Suppliers for resolve defects.

Responsible for developing test cases, Test plan, Design Test Strategy, Test Execution and Test deliverables in order to assess the functional and non-functional quality and reliability of a component and/ or a system for Global connected services, IOT, OTA, on Trucks for E2E Testing, Regression, System Acceptance test, Vehicle testing and any test related activities.

Ability to work well independently and in a team environment with strong organizational skills.

Should be able to handle Electrical equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, etc)

Good to have High Voltage EV level 1/2 training.

Basic Understanding of ISO26262.

Understanding of V Model Software testing

Experience with FMEA/DFMEA.

Requires 10% Local travel in USA. (Mt.Vernon WA, Denton TX, Farmington,MI)

Required Skills:

Knowledge of Test automation scripting (CAPL, etc.).

Experience in HILS validation (dSPACE/Vector) (Blackbox testing).

Proficient with Vector tools, CANOe, CANape, and basics in automation.

Develop and implement custom test functions, sequences, and test setups using breakout boxes, Vector CANalyzer and CANoe, CAPL scripting, and software prototyping tools as needed. Responsible for maintenance and upgrades of manual test equipment and harnesses.

Work extensively with CAN, analog and digital based control systems.

Provide manual test support for TCU development and testing.

Basic knowledge in UNIX Commands, any OBD Tools.

Preferred Skills:

BEV Related testing experience on Charge management

Proficiency of automotive communication protocols, including: J1939, CAN, KWP-2000, UDS is desired.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master graduate's degree STEM Discipline

Automotive Engineering experience

Work knowledge in Battery Electric Vehicle's is preferred.
