Job description

Atlantic Health System is seeking a per-diem Medical Laboratory Scientist for the Transfusion Services Department at Morristown Medical Center to work varied shifts including every third weekend. 

• Perform ABO/Rh type, antibody screening, antibody identification, compatibility testing, component storage, preparation and issue in trauma center blood bank.

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institution
• Foreign graduates require equivalency evaluation documentation

Minimum Experience:

• Blood Bank experience highly preferred
• New MLS/ CLS/ MLT grads welcome to apply!

License/Certifications:

• ASCP or equivalent certification preferred
