Job description

We are seeking an experienced Capture Manager to join our dynamic team at SOSi's Technology & Engineering (T&E) business unit, based in Reston, VA. As a key player, you'll lead capture teams in pursuing exciting opportunities with our valued clients in the Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Government civilian agencies.

Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and manage winning strategies for top corporate opportunities, guiding them from qualification through proposal and award phases.
Take ownership of assigned opportunities, utilizing gate reviews, competitive analysis, solutioning, and teaming to enhance success rates.
Collaborate with line leads to identify and address gaps in project requirements, negotiating teaming agreements with partners as needed.
Work closely with the proposal team to ensure proposals are compelling, compliant, and reflective of client needs.
Plan, manage, and control capture costs and schedules, overseeing the budget for each opportunity.
Actively participate in industry events and marketing activities to promote SOSi's capabilities.

Minimum Requirements:

Active Secret clearance required, with eligibility for TS/SCI clearance.
Bachelor's degree.
Proven track record (6+ years) of success in business development and capture within the DoD and/or Federal Government civilian agencies, focusing on technology & engineering services.
Mastery of the capture process and deep understanding of acquisition processes.
Strong network and relationships within the DoD, Federal Government, and industry.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple capture activities in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:
This position offers a blend of office and remote work, with three days in the office and two days optional for remote work.
