Medical Assistant
HealthCare Support is currently interviewing for a Medical Assistant with one of the largest comprehensive primary care practices in Naples, FL.
Daily Responsibilities for the Medical Assistant:
- Ensure an exceptional patient experience for everyone visiting our office.
- Provide support during patient examinations and treatments under the guidance of the Physician, ARNP, or PA.
- Tasks to be completed include but not limited to:
- Gathering vital signs and medical histories
- Conducting EKGs, administering injections, inputting data into electronic health records
- Performing any other necessary duties to ensure the highest level of patient care
- Shift: Monday - Friday | Must be flexible to work an 8-hour shift between 7am - 7pm
Required Qualifications for Medical Assistant:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of experience as a Medical Assistant (not including externships)
- Experience obtaining vitals, administering injections, performing Phlebotomy and EKGs
- BLS/CPR certified
- Must have experience working with an EMR
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications for the Medical Assistant:
- Athena EMR experience
- Neurology experience is highly preferred
