Job description

Develop personnel to provide integrated solutions to challenges and leverages emerging technologies which ensure a technical advantage while conducting research. Within the office, the department specifically drives operations through the rapid delivery of superior in-house engineered solutions and the application of engineering tools. The Resource Analyst would work with the front office, ensuring resources are managed to effectively meet the office mission.

The Resource Analyst (RA) will evaluate whether program execution is proceeding within available resource constraints and is remaining consistent with goals; collaborating in proposing and implementing resource realignment (including from multiple sources) as required or in response to unplanned circumstances. The RA will seek guidance as deemed necessary to ensure sound decision practices are employed. The RA will assist in the development of program budget and track the management and execution of funds at the task level using Microsoft Excel. The RA will hold routine meetings with COTRs and program managers on a regular basis (some weekly and some monthly) to review funding and execution rates.

The Resource Analyst (RA) will require an advanced Microsoft excel skillset to resolve spreadsheet discrepancies and visualization management as they will assist in the development of the program budget and track management and execution of funds. The RA will work with Group components to identify solutions to data discrepancies. The RA will have the opportunity to implement innovative processes or technology with management approval. The RA will utilize existing Sponsor tool sets to resolve data problems and provide solutions. RA will interact with Tableau (visual dashboard) in up-dating financial information to be displayed. RA will track actions in SLA workflow, sponsor voucher system, sponsor billing system, and use the sponsor financial form repository.
