Job description
Role: Accountant
Location: Fremont
Compensation: $35 to $40 an hour DOE
Our Fremont area based client has an immediate need for an Accountant to come onboard for an interim basis. This role will be fully onsite in the Fremont area.
Responsibilities
- Month-end close
- Heavy in GL reconciliations
- Various journal entries
- Assisting with upcoming audit
- Preparing PBC list of work papers
- Assisting with AP -- ensuring posted correctly and to correct GL
- Financial reports
- Ad hoc duties and projects as needed
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of Accounting experience (ME, GL, journal entries, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with ERP softwares like NetSuite, SAP or Intacct preferred
- Good Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organized, efficient, and strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
