Job description
Our client, the 15 th largest broker in the US, is looking for a Certificate Specialist that will be responsible for processing certificates of insurance for an assigned team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in processing certificates with accuracy and efficiently and ensuring timely delivery to clients. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate insurance documentation and supporting business operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Process new and renewal certificate requests promptly and accurately.
- Verify all information on certificates is correct and complete including policy numbers, coverage, and names insureds
- Research and resolve discrepancies in certificate information
- Maintain accurate filling systems of certificates and related documents
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in the construction industry and the insurance market
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of insurance experience.
- Experience processing certificates of insurance is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically: Excel, PowerPoint and Word
