Job Title: Structural Engineer

Salary: $100k-130k depending on exp

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: 8 am to 5 pm M-F, In-Office with 10-20 % travel

Prefers local, no relocation assistance.

Client Details: The client is focused on the design, build and service of commercial and residential projects in South Florida.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Sign and seal Engineering Plans in the state of Florida
• Drafts and reviews all plans and specifications for commercial and residential projects to ensure compliance with city state and federal laws and regulations.
• Initiates pre-construction conferences with contractors and/or developers and associated staff members.
• Provides technical direction and assistance to inspection personnel relating to field personnel.

Qualifications :

• Must have a Professional Engineer License (Must be valid in the following counties: Palm Beach, Broward, Miami)
• Must be able to sign and seal Engineering Plans in the state of Florida
• Must have a valid driver’s license (active minimum 3 years)
• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check (clean record)
• Experience with Aluminum is a plus
