Job Summary:
About the Role & Team
Are you ready to lead the delivery of business programs within the Disney Consumer Products (DCP) global organization? We, DCP Strategy and Planning Team, partner with Business Leads to determine the objectives, goals, strategies, and measures that drive the business, and then we build the path, from strategy to execution, to achieve ground-breaking results!
In this role, you will program manage various types of new business initiatives that are outside established workstreams, including but not limited to, initiatives to evaluate and pilot new business opportunities, deliver new types of products, and/or optimize existing businesses.
This role reports to the Manager, Business Program Management.
This is a Full-Time position.
What You Will Do
You will work with teams across multiple subject areas in a geographically dispersed organization, including external partners. This exciting role blends business program management, project delivery, extensive cross-department collaboration, and insightful business acumen! This role may concurrently lead multiple programs of various types and at various stages in the life cycle. The Business Program Manager will ensure the execution of programs in a timely manner, based on organizational priorities, within a dynamic environment of business transformation.
- Working with team members, establish the objectives, achievements and results for the business program
- Facilitate scope definition and build out a high-level plan with phases, as appropriate, to the specific business program (e.g. discovery, research, analysis, pilot delivery, product delivery)
- Lead planning and design workshops with cross-functional partners, to determine objectives, requirements, priorities, risks, timing, resources, budget, and communication plans
- Work with executives, cross-functional leaders, and external partners to acquire schedules and estimates, lead contract processes, supervise ongoing results and interactions, secure reporting, and review invoicing
- Confidently lead and serve as a primary liaison to drive cross-functional business programs, through full delivery lifecycle, among multiple departments, subject areas, teams, and vendors
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Direct management and accountability for single project budgets ranging from $2-5M
- At least five years of relevant work experience in business programs with project management in a multi-channel environment
- Client management experience in successfully delivering business solutions, preferably in a global client-service organization
- Professional presence and presentation abilities when communicating with executive level (Directors, VPs, SVPs, Presidents) in presentation, writing, working sessions, and 1-on-1 interactions
- Show good judgment skills when seeking mentorship, calling out risks and issues
- Experience in multiple, full lifecycle program deliveries, from business development through implementation and operations
- Project leading 10 different departments and comfortable being a self-starter, estimator, project and resource planner, meeting timelines, issue management, organizational change, communication planning, handling ambiguity, and driving execution
- Able to expertly lead teams to a successful delivery approach, working both collaboratively and independently, while maintaining a high level of efficiency
- Proven analysis/assessment capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred program delivery in retail, e-commerce, product development, marketing, merchandising, and business development initiatives
- Consulting experience is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $86,200 to $118,400 per year and in Glendale, CA is $92,800 to $124,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
