Kelly is hiring a Laboratory Technician for one of our clients in Eagan, MN
Shift M-F 8am-4pm (flexible)
Onsite (some flexibility to work 10% hybrid)
3 month contract with potential to extend/convert
Pay: $24/hr
Job Responsibilities
Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project: Perform laboratory tests, make observations, collect and analyze data, record observations.
Interaction level with Management/Team Members: Regular communication with manager and other team members. Some work with others and other work done independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications/years of experience: Entry Level position, 2 year technical degree or 4 year degree in chemistry, biochemistry, engineering, or related
Technology Requirements:
This position requires knowledge of standard and specialized laboratory equipment and chemical laboratory operations. Also required is a knowledge of laboratory practices, scientific terminology and the characteristics and preparation of materials used in routine and special experimental procedures. Lab skills, computer skills(excel, word, powerpoint, etc), and mechanical aptitude are desired.
Qualifications ???????
2 year technical degree
Prefer 4 year degree in chemistry, biochemistry, engineering, or related.
Knowledge of general chemistry
Knowledge of general laboratory practices
Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
General proficiency with common computer programs (word, excel, etc.)
Performs lab work with safety as a top priority
Good communicator, able to work well with others, takes direction from multiple people
