Position Summary MARKETING DIRECTOR Show Me Center Full Time
Primary Responsibilities - Event solicitation
- Media buying and placement
- Advertising sales/sponsorships
- Web page/Social Media management
- Event promotion and publicity
- Event management
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, sports administration or related field
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays when needed
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrable experience in personnel supervision
- Experience with contract development, negotiation and implementation
- Experience in media advertising, public relations, and/or promotions
- Sales experience
- Demonstrate experience and or knowledge in working in an arena environment
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in event creation and planning
- Demonstrate experience with website development; management and social media coordination
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
- Proficient in computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets and graphics software
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
