Full-Time Onsite with Paid Relocation
Our Award-Winning Client is seeking a talented Project Manager with expertise in managing projects from inception to completion. This exciting opportunity offers full-time onsite work with relocation support.
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Execute project start-up procedures with a sense of urgency and maintain a positive attitude.
- Implement company-standard filing systems and follow the project start-up checklist.
- Handle the review and processing of all submittals, pricing, and proposal requests.
- Prepare prime change orders, Sub change orders (Prime 1st, Sub 2nd), and document cost changes.
- Lead subcontractor pre-construction meetings and coordinate OAC meetings.
- Conduct project-related meetings, including Progress, OAC, and pre-installation meetings.
- Review and approve job-related bills and invoices.
- Actively participate in civic organizations and support jobsite safety.
- Visit job sites as needed and assist superintendents in the field.
- Complete punch lists and perform estimating duties as required.
- Be available and prepared for project interviews and RFPs with potential clients.
- Prepare timely and materially accurate reports as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Over 8 years of experience in commercial construction project management. Residential construction experience is not preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proficiency in computer applications, preferably Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven leadership ability on projects from start to finish.
- Consistent track record of successful projects/project management.
- Fundamental knowledge of budget setup, management, and tracking.
- Ability to develop and manage project schedules.
- Proactive approach to problem resolution and issues management.
- Proficient in running project-related meetings, including Progress, OAC, and pre-installation meetings.
