Location: Remote (This is a remote position to be located in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area with a very rare potential to work out of the CDC Offices to support emergencies.)

Job Description CyberData Technologies is looking to hire an experienced SharePoint Web App Developer to support efforts with the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP) of CDC related to the prevention and control of chronic diseases. This candidate shall provide oversight of the team development process and shall develop, customize, and implement NCCDPHP level SharePoint business applications with the ability to scale to enterprise level (agency).
The candidate shall provide subject matter expertise with extensive knowledge of process, software product, and/or specific technology. Plan and lead custom designed Power platform applications/SharePoint sites, functions/acts as a center-wide senior technical authority in all SharePoint activities and provide technical expertise to integrate SharePoint system with other agency systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs system design, analysis, and engineering tasks related to the design and implementation of major enterprise system development and integration.
- Facilitate and lead requirements gathering sessions, using subject matter expertise to define and document requirements, including validating requirements with stakeholders as they relate to current environments and future trends, recommend a technical approach to meet the business needs. Generate design specifications for software development, translating the business requirements into detailed algorithms for coding. Oversee the development, testing and implementation of the technical solution, validating the final product.
- Design, create and maintain Center level internal and external-facing SharePoint sites using out-of-the-box document management, workflow, and collaboration functions.
- Utilize the Power Platform, Power Apps, Flow, and Power BI to create robust applications on SharePoint.
- Serve as site/sub-site administrator for Center level SharePoint sites, both internal and external facing.
- Create, plan, and execute end-user SharePoint training sessions, 6 per year minimum via Skype, for staff. Conduct additional sessions as required as a result of new technology or increased usage. Works closely with NCCDPHP SharePoint Site Collection Administrator, other Power Platform/SharePoint site developers, project managers, technical leads, business analysts, leadership, and other subject matter experts on a variety of custom projects.
- Participate in NCCDPHP SharePoint user groups and make recommendations for improvements and incorporate best practices into Center SharePoint site administration and development activities.
- Provide advice, technical consultation, and guidance to customers by analyzing and resolving problems and evaluating alternative means of satisfying user requirements.
- Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating Center outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s in computer science, information systems or related fields from accredited university
- Senior-level programming experience in Power Platform, SharePoint, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SharePoint Designer, Structured Query Language (SQL) Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Reporting, Nintex Forms and Workflows, and Visual Studio.
