Job description
Job Summary
Prestige Ford is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team. This position requires an individual with a keen customer service focus and excellent problem solving, communication, and technical skills. The Service Advisor's responsibilities include helping customers in the service department with their maintenance and repair needs, diagnosing repairs, creating and explaining estimates, and building relationships with repeat customers.
Prior Automotive Service experience is required - Great opportunity for promtion is availible.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time job, offering a base salary plus commission, with average annual earnings of $65000 to $125000 per year. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid vacations and sick days; and 401K.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers as their main point-of-contact in the service department. Daily customer calls to update them on the Status of their vehicle.
- Evaluate customer service needs, diagnose, and explain automotive repair needs to customers and provide cost of repair estimates.
- Maintain service documentation, customers’ history files, and other paperwork to ensure accuracy of work performed and billing.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with technicians and other service personnel.
- Meet or exceed established service department goals for customer satisfaction, quality of work, and customer retention.
- Manage customer concerns by identifying solutions and involving processes as needed.
Requirement
- At least 1 years of prior service advisor experience in the automotive industry.
- Proven communication, organizational, and successful diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong working knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
