Job description
Job Summary:
Diehl Chevrolet of Hermitage is seeking a Detailer/Reconditioning Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry located in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. The individual in this role will be responsible for detailing and reconditioning vehicles to ensure they are clean, polished, and in excellent condition. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $12 to $16 per hour, paid biweekly. As a Detailer/Reconditioning Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of our dealership's inventory, delivering a positive customer experience, and contributing to the overall success of the dealership.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and detail vehicles, including washing, waxing, buffing, and vacuuming interiors
- Inspect and correct any cosmetic defects on vehicles
- Polish exterior of vehicles to enhance their appearance
- Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and have necessary fluids, such as oil and windshield fluid
- Use cleaning solutions, cloth, and brushes to clean windows, windscreens, and mirrors
- Inspect and maintain cleanliness of the dealership lot and showroom
- Assist with organizing and managing inventory on the dealership lot
- Report any vehicle damage or issues to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from customers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous detailing experience is preferred
- Knowledge of different cleaning and detailing products and techniques preferred
- Ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
