We're seeking a highly reliable and influential leader to fill the pivotal role of Manager of Human Resources Operations. Collaborating closely with the Director of HR & Training, you will lead a dedicated HR team in executing key HR functions, with a strong focus on company recruitment, growth initiatives, and developing efficient processes. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day Human Resources operations of the organization, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, recruitment and retention, employee and labor relations, HRIS, workers’ compensation, employee health, employee engagement activities, and building PPSI culture.
- Oversee and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy for growth in existing and new territories and geographical regions through workforce planning employer branding, recruitment marketing, networking and industry engagement, internship and training programs, and regularly reviewing and refining the recruitment strategy based on performance metrics, feedback and changes in the business environment.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and daily direction to HR team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set objectives, and support staff development.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the HR department.
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts professionally and confidentially.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in collaboration with HR Director.
- Promote a culture of open communication and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate HR records and reports.
- Ensure accurate documentation of HR practices and procedures.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain HR records and reports.
- Ability and willingness to travel to existing and new territories.

Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years of recruiting experience and at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Small business experience required.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities including establishing objectives, setting performance standards, and organizing and motivating a team to achieve goals and solve problems.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, clarity and high-quality HR work-product.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the poise and confidence required to manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff across geographical regions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
