Job Title: Loan Service Specialist – Tier I

Normal Duties:

• Greet Members and Guests
• Start application process.
• Keep appointment flow running smoothly.
• Answer Telephone Calls
• Answer Simple Questions
• Set up appointments.
• Refer calls to appropriate person.
• Disburse Loans
• Explain Loan Documents
• Cut Checks and issue upon completion of loan process.
• Input data on computer.
• Return completed package to Loan Officer for minute entry.
• Process Daily Mail
• File and record lien proofs on vehicles.
• Forward insurance documentation to insurance company
• File and record mortgage documentation.
• Collect and document information requested; RE: mortgage verification from other financial institutions.
• File Room
• Responsible for all daily filing of loan files and incoming documentation
• Upkeep of files
• Other filing duties as assigned, such as obtaining files for audit or examination purposes, etc.
• Record Keeping
• Gather Data pertaining to the daily traffic flow of the loan department as directed by the Vice President – lending.
• Enter data on forms for computer input.
• Paid Loans
• Mail “thank You” letters to all members who paid loans as agreed.
• Send paid documentation as applicable.
• Assist Loan Officers with cash transactions.
• MasterCard advances
• Loan Payoffs
• Attend BSA training annually.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Vice President – Lending or President/CEO.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Graduate with at least one year experience in a credit union or financial institution preferred
