JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: University Health Services (UHS) invites applications for a P rimary Care Physician . Responsibilities include clinical assessment and treatment for acute illnesses, injuries, chronic problems, preventive care, and health counseling.
UHS remains committed to advancing student wellness while creating an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all Penn State students. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, electronic medical record knowledge, and outpatient primary care experience with college health experience preferred.
Typical Education and Training Requirements:
Doctoral Degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) plus five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be licensed or license eligible to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Board certification or Board eligibility in a primary care specialty required
Must have and maintain DEA registration
Additional years of experience required for a level 4 position

This is a year-round position with some Saturday shifts during the fall and spring semesters. Penn State benefits are included.
