Job description
Role: Sr. Solution Architect/Solution Architect - Automation
Key Responsibilities:
The Sr. Solution Architect/Solution Architect - Automation is accountable for architecting, designing, and implementing strategies, patterns, and interfaces between HealthRules Payor and other components of the ecosystem, including custom frameworks, TDM, and other business applications.
Possess a robust understanding of Healthcare payer solutions with hands-on knowledge of HRP applications being preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in end-to-end workflows such as Claims processing, Member enrollment, Benefit plans, Claims payout/edits, and EDI Integrations.
Integrate the core HealthRules Payor platform with various enterprise ecosystems and applications.
Conduct assessments of automation frameworks, establish roadmaps for improvement, and participate in design and architectural reviews of automation solutions. Oversee the building, releasing, and deployment of solutions on-premises or in the cloud.
Lead the development of technical solutions aligned with business requirements, ensuring adherence to technology standards and best practices.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to comprehend their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Monitor and analyze HRP version changes, ensuring downstream peripheral applications remain compatible with core HRP version upgrades.
Participate actively in the testing, deployment, and maintenance of technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership to development teams and other technical staff, incorporating mentoring and coaching.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold security standards.
Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement new technologies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and operational manuals.
Qualifications:
Proven self-starter, capable of executing tasks with minimal instruction or support.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Possess 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, software development, or a related field.
Strong background in designing and implementing large-scale solutions utilizing modern architectures, such as microservices, API-first, and cloud-native.
In-depth knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and technologies, including ESB, messaging, and API gateways.
Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex solutions within budget and timeline constraints.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in leading a team of technical leads and developers, showcasing the ability to coach and mentor junior resources.
Preferably, experience in healthcare information technology or the health insurance industry.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
Core Administrative System experience is required, with HealthRules Payor being preferred
