Institutional Analytics and Reporting is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst. This is a full-time (1.00FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position.
This position resides within Oregon State University's ( OSU ) University Information and Technology ( UIT ) Data and Information Architecture group and is an integral part of a diverse and innovative team responsible for delivering data solutions that support university-wide data, integration and analytics services and enables business insights to advance the priorities and vision for OSU . UIT comprises approximately 175 faculty and classified employees in UIT , along with 150 FTE student positions, and administers a total budget of $35+ million.OSU is rapidly changing and maturing our approach to our Business Intelligence / Analytics practice. We are seeking an experienced, skilled, and highly motivated Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Data and Information Architecture team. In this position, you will work on a diverse and collaborative team to solve challenging problems and make meaningful contributions that support and advance the mission of Oregon State University through Business Intelligence solutions and data storytelling. The incumbent will be a strong and experienced independent contributor working on advanced projects with high technical complexity while working collaboratively on a growing and evolving team. This role requires broad prior professional experiences and is well suited to someone who is adaptable and enjoys learning new things. You will work on data solutions and data products across a wide range of domains that bring insight and enable action in a complex and dynamic institution.
As UIT's central data team, we are responsible for delivering an enterprise-wide analytics and reporting ecosystem with data that is architected, governed, managed, accessible, and secure. The services and expertise provided by this unit include data architecture, data engineering and integrations, API development, enterprise data warehousing, data management, data modeling, Institutional Research, Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting functions and tools, advanced analytics, data storyboarding and storytelling, as well as data community support and training and engagements related to broad data needs. We strive to advance what is possible for data at OSU with our data platform and leverage a unique and agile development process for our data products which enables us to build sustainable and high value solutions that serve the OSU mission.

Typically requires Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related field. May require IT Certification.
Requirements :
This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: 05-010 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.
Type:
Work schedule is determined with supervisor; remote office set up may be possible, as agreed on between the employee and supervisor. Travel is infrequent but would be available for professional development or representing the organization to external organizations.
Additional Salary Information: $75,000 - $105,000
