Title: Staff Accountant – Construction Management (Miami, FL)
DO YOU WANT

YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience with Accounts Receivables (AR) including invoicing, AIA payment applications, and change orders
- Experience with Accounts Payables (AP) including QuickBooks timesheets, managing data entry, and issuing payroll checks
- Experience with construction job costing, including vendor invoice processing and Purchase Order (PO) creation (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of experience and training)
- Experience with construction accounting principles is a strong plus.
- Ability to assist with vendor inquiries and maintain clear communication regarding the status of accounts
YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Supporting the Vice President by maintaining meticulous records, including Notice to Owners, Notice of Non-Payments, Claims of Lien, lien releases, sworn statements of accounts, and contract details
- Ensuring cost control through job costing vendor invoices, creating Purchase Orders (POs), and managing construction budgets
- Streamlining financial processes by processing payments to subcontractors and vendors, handling requisitions and invoices
- Maintaining contract compliance by assisting with construction contracts and change order requests

COMPENSATION
- Base salary: $65,000 - $75,000
