The Business Development Manager plays a key role in increasing our market share in the emerging markets. This position requires excellent communication skills to meet our business needs. The focus is to drive new agent sales across assigned communities in the US. Key metrics based on new agent activations and transactions (Money Transfer).

Responsibilities

• Spend most of the time (90%) recruiting new clients for the Philippine corridor.
• Achieve and exceed new Agent activation targets every month.
• Achieve and exceed new Agent transactions monthly targets.
• Manage the entire sales process; identify prospects, cold call, face to face meetings, sales presentations, and close deals.
• Demonstrate solid financial and business acumen to demonstrate the value of Ria's value proposition to prospective new Filipino Agents.
• Manage the new Agent selling cycle; submit applications accurately and timely and provide all necessary information for the successful activation of new Agents.
• Responsible for new Agent equipment installation, systems training, and branding of the new Agent location with point-of-sale materials that comply with the company's policies and procedures.
• Responsible for ramping up new Agent transactions for the first 90 days.
• Provide solutions and develop strong relationships with new Agents.
• Execute marketing plans by participating in company and community events.
• Submit weekly activity reports with agent expansion efforts and competitor analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associates, bachelor's degree or at least two years of successful outside sales experience.
• At least one year of experience in outside sales or new business development.
• Must possess a successful track record of business-to-business sales and opening of new accounts.
• Must possess strong sales and presentation skills, be persuasive and can successfully negotiate and close deals.
• Ability to prospect, present, promote and sell financial products and services.
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the Money Service Business, payments, and financial service industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English and Tagalog
• Ability to travel to assigned territory or region daily or monthly to sign new agents.
