Job description

Summary

Full time daycare teachers needed for 6:30 am - 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, for the one-year-old class and the three-year-old class. Apply in person at 619 Stonewall St. N McKenzie TN 38201.

Duties

Prepare weekly lesson plans.
Send home daily reports to parents.
Complete 18 hours of training each year.
Clean and organize classrooms and restrooms.
Follow a daily schedule.
Parent/Teacher conferences (twice a year)
Ensure children are signed in and out each day.
Supervise mealtime, nap time, play time, and restroom breaks.
Change diapers according to state regulations and keep daily records.
Maintain good communication with parents.
Write accident reports as needed.

Requirements

Must pass fingerprinting background check.
Have high school diploma or GED.
Complete ongoing yearly training hours.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification (will need to get once hired)
