Job description

(Physician/MD qualifications required) Medical Director - An organization that is designed to change, adjust and meet the needs of the communities they serve by providing a wide range of programs and services that respond to the ever-growing health and human service needs of those living and working in their region, is seeking a medical director.

Organization is seeking an experienced, dedicated Medical Director to plan and carry out the medical care programs and services. Medical Director assist with the development and review of the annual health care plan and financial and operational planning as it relates to medical services based upon community needs assessment demographics, disease patterns of the community and health behavior of the community.

Develop, recommend and manage to Primary Care Department plans, programs, policies and procedures; participate in the development and preparation of the Primary Care Dept. budget and provide for ongoing budgetary monitoring, evaluation and accountability. Provide direct supervision of clinical staff assigned to primary care area to insure the consistent delivery of quality care. Provide support and supervision for students affiliated with educational programs for which the organization has affiliation agreements engage in all Human Resource activities e.g. interview, hire, train, evaluate performance, discipline and related.
