Position Type : Full Time
Salary Range : $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 Salary
Mechanical Engineer Urban Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Department. This position will be responsible for the mechanical system design of commercial, institutional, and residential building projects.
Responsibilities - Responsible for the preparation of construction drawings and specifications.
- Design full mechanical systems including chilled water, DX, VAV, VRF and hot water systems.
- Prepare load calculations for different stages of design.
- Prepare drawings detailing the system designed.
- Communicate with clients to establish their needs and discuss design issues with them.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience Level Requirements
- 3 - 9 years of HVAC design experience
- EIT is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently.
- AutoCAD and Revit experience is required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must live within or be relocating to within a reasonable commute of our Cherry Hill, NJ Office.
